Despite my serious disposition in my photos, I'm usually cracking up during my photo shoots, because Chris is ridiculous and makes a bunch of bad puns.

I love how versatile this dress is. Despite being a busy printed midi dress, it’s extremely easy to wear as a dress, a skirt or stand on its own; dressed up or dressed down; for the office or to the park. I’ve already worn it once as a “skirt” with a crop top.
Best part is it’s easy to accessorize like with this boater hat I bought years ago in Tokyo. Still love it to this day. Despite its origins from an underground mall stall, it instantly reminded me of Anne of Green Gables (hence the post name).
However, despite its similarities to my favorite novels, I could never get past Anne's idealism. When things are so obvious to the reader, but not to the protagonist, readers like me begin to wonder if the protagonist is purposely hurting people’s feelings and is the biggest sociopath known to man.
Now all this talk of literature has me craving another read through of Pride and Prejudice. I’ll be right back ;)

Beautiful! I love the shirt under the dress x
ReplyDeleteI love Anne of Green Gables! I use to read those books a lot when I was in middle school and of course watch the series. I love your look and does kinda of remind me of character and the fashion that period but with a modern twist!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love how you styled this adorable dress!!

Gorgeous dress! And I adore Anne! I'm still so sad about Jonathan Crombie's death last year.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "Anne of Green Gables". Love the dress and the hat, not to mention your use of the belt and flannel scarf. :)
